    hi,

    i have purchased and installed the unit 2 weeks ago.

    i seem to have the same issue. it works fairly good on larger faucets, such as showers and kitchen sink, but i am having major flow issues on bathroom faucets. unless i fully open the faucet on HOT water, there is not enough flow to fire the unit.

    could you please let me know how to verify what version of SW my unit is running? do i need to open a new request for this purpose?

    We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our 45HI is flow activated however there is a minimum flow that is needed for the water heater to activate. We now have a new updated software for our 45 series's computer board. We may need to know the date of purchase of this heater so please contact us to address and resolve the issue.
