I regret to inform you that we do not sell the heat exchange part that is why we recommend the Rapid fix instead to patch the holes. We apologize for the inconvenience once again. Thank you! Regards, Technical Support Team Eccotemp Systems LLC 1.866.356.1992 www.eccotemp.com John Smith Thanks for your help; my last question is whether I can purchase the tube system and replace it myself. Thanks again for your help. Best regards, John Smith Sent from my iPad John Smith Tech Support Hello John Smith, Good day! We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, as much as we want to, we do not service unit with freeze damage. The only solution that we have is the Rapid Fix or purchase a new or a re-conditioned unit. Just in case you purchase another but same unit, please do not throw that old unit because some parts of it can still be use as replacement if needed. However, our L10 unit is in back order until the last week of April. I believe I made my purchase in May 2015. I have found the receipt but may find the payment via my bank statement if that is necessary. I was able to purchase the Rapid Fix that was recommended but can't seem get the gaps closed. Thanks for your ongoing help and support. Best regards, John Smith John Smith Tech Support Hello John Smith, Good day! Sad to say that we don't repair unit due to freeze damaged. Best thing is get new unit or a recondition unit or if you are able to identify the holes in your unit's tubes and they are not severely open then yes, it can be patched by the rapid fix. Regards, Technical Support Team Eccotemp Systems LLC 1.866.356.1992 www.eccotemp.com John Smith Thanks for the quick reply; however the busted pipes are more than pin holes, they are substantial breaks. Do you still think your product could work? And do you offer a rebuilding for the unit? I've noticed reconditioned units for sale. Best regards, John Smith Sent from my iPad John Smith Tech Support Hello John Smith, Good day! The pin holes/cracked on the pipe is a common occurrence along with freeze damage. Unfortunately, the pipe itself cannot be replaced...however we recommending using a sealant called Rapid Fix, we use this on site to repair any type of pin-hole leaks...and it has fared very well in resolving that type of damage. You can order this online, as I'll provide the link below for your reference. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns and we'll be glad to assist you. Thanks and have a great day. https://www.eccotemp.com/rapid-fix-2-kit-5ml-bottles/ Regards, Technical Support Team Eccotemp Systems LLC 1.866.356.1992 www.eccotemp.com John Smith I purchased an L10 model heater for our door shower last summer and enjoyed it nearly everyday and had zero problems. I put it away for the winter and reinstalled it yesterday. When I turned on the water it ran out the bottom of the unit. When I opened it up I discovered three busted pipes. I'm assuming ice formed in the pipes before it was stored over the winter. I'm wondering if the piping unit can be replaced. Everything else looks to be in new condition.
