Before Starting

  1. Check for Damage: Inspect the box for any damage incurred during shipping. Report any issues immediately.

  2. Verify Parts: Ensure all parts and accessories are present and accounted for.

Installation and Setup

  1. Water Input Setup:

    • If using a standard garden hose, attach the 1/2" NPT to the garden hose adapter to the 'Water Input' fittings. Use sealant tape for a secure fit. Check and clean the screen inside the water inlet before attaching.

  2. Gas Supply Installation:

    • Install the gas supply line and regulator to the water heater using two wrenches. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage. Check for gas leaks before proceeding.

  3. Water Output Connection:

    • Attach the water output to the 'Water Outlet' fitting. Ensure it is securely attached without over-tightening.

  4. Battery Installation:

    • Insert two "D" cell batteries into the compartment located on the bottom left of the heater, following the correct polarity.

  5. Mounting:

    • Use the top tab of the water heater to suspend it from a mounted screw capable of holding 15 kilograms. Mount it at a comfortable height that avoids stress on the gas hose.

  6. Gas Tank Connection:

    • Connect the gas regulator hose to the LP tank and tighten using a wrench. Inspect for gas leaks thoroughly.

Operating Instructions

  1. Turning On:

    • Turn on the incoming water supply with adequate pressure (40-50 PSI / 2.7 - 3.4 bar).

    • Ensure the water output device is in the 'off' position.

  2. Gas Operation:

    • Fully open the gas valve on the cylinder (IF THE SMELL OF GAS IS DETECTED, TURN OFF THE GAS VALVE IMMEDIATELY!)

    • Set the water regulator knob to the highest setting and the gas regulator knob to the minimum setting.

  3. Ignition:

    • Turn on the water output device and adjust it to the desired flow.

    • Listen for audible clicks indicating ignition. If the burner fails to ignite after 5 seconds, refer to troubleshooting in the manual.

  4. After Use:

    • Open the drain valve after use or for storage to ensure water drainage.

    • Turn off the gas supply.

  5. Cold Weather Warning:

    • In freezing temperatures, drain water from the heater and disconnect the outgoing waterline after each use to prevent damage.

WARNING: This model is intended for recreational & portable use only. This model CANNOT be permanently mounted or plumbed in any way. Doing so will void your warranty.
