Eccotemp is owned and operated by Eccotemp Systems, LLC (“Eccotemp", “we”, “us”, and/or “our”) and has been created to provide our Site visitors and Customer's own Site visitors (“you”, “your”) with information about our company and our email collection tools. This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) sets forth Eccotemp’s policy with respect to information, including personally identifiable data (“Personal Information”), that is collected from you through the Site.

PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE:
We collect Personal Information from you when you voluntarily provide such information, such as when you contact us with inquiries, subscribe to our Eccotemp email newsletter, login or complete a purchase on our Eccotemp website. For instance, Eccotemp may collect the following information about you: name, address, zip code, telephone number and email address. Wherever Eccotemp collects Personal Information we make an effort to provide a link to this Policy.
By voluntarily providing us with Personal Information, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Policy. If you provide Personal Information to the Site, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Information may be transferred from your current location to the offices Eccotemp located in the United States.

Non-Identifiable Data: When you interact with Eccotemp through our Help Desk hosted by Zendesk, we receive and store certain personally non-identifiable information. Such information, which is collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you, unless it is combined with Personal Information. BUSINESS TRANSFERS:
As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Information may be part of the transferred assets. ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ONWARD TRANSFER:
In order to provide our services, Eccotemp utilizes third party agents, both domestically and internationally, to perform tasks on behalf of and under the instruction of Eccotemp. Personal data, including EU and Swiss personal data, obtained on a consumer may be disclosed from Eccotemp's clients to third parties (such as agents, representatives, vendors, and/or subcontractors) for the purpose of performing business-related functions. When we employ another company to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function. Eccotemp's agents, vendors, and/or subcontractors will be contractually obligated 1) to use, protect, and maintain the same level of confidentiality and protection of personal information consistent with this Privacy Policy and Privacy Shield Principles where Directive 95/46/EC applies, and 2) to notify Eccotemp if they make a determination that they can no longer meet this obligation. We recognize that under Privacy Shield, we have potential liability for unlawful onward transfers.

The links from the Site or placement of Tools on certain Third Party Sites does not imply that Eccotemp endorses or has reviewed the Third Party Sites. We suggest contacting those sites, services, entities or persons directly for information on their privacy policies.
6. CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION
Eccotemp does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Information through the Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information through the Services without their permission. All purchases valued at $75 or above will be shipped with SIGNATURE REQUIRED. If you wish to remove SIGNATURE REQUIRED from your shipment please contact Customer Service immediately to have it removed. Free ground shipping on orders $149 or more within the continental United States only. PO BOX addresses excluded. Must be a physical address. Shipping may take up to 14 days, although most orders are shipped within 1 business day. We offer upgraded shipping options if needed. If you selected expedited shipping at checkout this does not guarantee shipping that same day or the following business day. If you require your order by a certain date please contact customer support for information.
Eccotemp is not responsible for delayed shipments due to weather and/or any other escalated issue experienced by the Carriers. If an order is delayed due to an issue the carriers are experiencing, Eccotemp can assist with filing a claim with the carrier, but in no way can guarantee any reimbursement or refund for shipping costs. All customers accept liability when choosing expedited shipping with any carrier in the event of a delay due to circumstances outside of the control of Eccotemp.
