Follow the steps below to replace the On/Off Switch on your portable water heater on the models L5, L7, L10, EL5, EL7, and EL10.
Remember to remove the knobs first.
Unscrew the screws located at the top and bottom of the water heater.
Gently remove the cover by sliding the cover up towards the top and mind the wires and the on/off switch.
Disconnect the on/off switch from the battery box. Squeeze the side of the on/off switch from the inside cover to release the clasps holding it in place.
Push the on/off switch out of the bottom of the cover.
Slide wires through the hole and push in the new on/off switch until it locks in place.
Reconnect the wires and put the cover back on.
