Figuring out how to get the best use and temperature out of your portable water heater is pretty simple, but we are here to help you understand just how to set the temperature on your portable tankless water heater.

For regulating the temperature of your water heater, you will need to adjust both the Gas and Water knobs to reach the desired temperature.

The knobs will look like the picture below for the model L7. For this particular model (L7) the central black knob is for Gas and the outside silver knob is for Water.

The knobs will look like the picture below for the models L5 and L10:

And the knobs for the models EL5, EL7, and EL10, look slightly different, like the picture below:

Variable factors such as incorrect or imperfect installations and varying incoming water temperatures may yield different results.

Your incoming water temperature will play a major role in the achievable temperatures your water heater can reach. The colder the incoming water is, the lower the achievable temperature will be.

You can always check the product manual for accurate information on the temperature increase. But below is a table for the temperature increase per GPM depending on your gas setting.
